Founded in 2012 by Mrs. A. Nicholls, The Compliance Bureau (TCB) was established in response to a growing demand for reliable, fast, and legally compliant employee screening services in South Africa. With the increasing risks associated with negligent hires – from workplace fraud and reputational damage to costly legal consequences – TCB emerged as a trusted solution for businesses determined to hire right the first time.

As part of the Solutions for Africa (SFA) Group,The Compliance Bureau participates in, and benefits from the SFA Scholarship initiative.
 
The program aims to identify unemployed young adults and equip them with vital industry skills and knowledge by providing access not only to a number of accredited courses and qualifications, but also to an immersion into the day-to-day business environment. Following successful completion by the candidate, the group companies can actively recruit and champion the cause of any young, promising individuals identified.
 
In line with our broader transformation goals, the initiative also supports the inclusion of people with disabilities, recognising their potential, breaking down access barriers, and working toward a workforce that reflects the full diversity of our society.
 
It is this sense of shared purpose and self-worth that drive us to continue investing in empowering communities to bring about societal change. To date, the program has seen 65 enrolled learners, 17 of which have gone on to secure permanent, full-time employment with one of the SFA companies. Many have gone on to secure employment back in their respective communities too. Our current intake of 35 are at different stages of their learning journey, soon to enter the employment market as qualified and equipped contributors to the economy.
